About Us

Authentic western mountain adventures in BC Canada

Professionally-outfitted, unique Canadian holidays in British Columbia's South Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and the sunny Chilcotin Coast Mountains. Fly in and pack in with horses to comfortable, traditional Western-style base camps in the Charlotte Alplands Alpine Wilderness Area.

Lying east of the Coast Mountains, the Charlotte-Alplands area is located between Charlotte Lake/Atnarko River, bordered on the west by Tweedsmuir Park. It is a completely without roads, allowing for spectacular, unaltered views. The country is comprised of numerous steep-sided valleys that separate the peaks and ridges; between are high, rolling plateaus and countless, quality wilderness lakes. The area has a high percentage of alpine ecosystems, providing open terrain for several wildlife species and alpine floral displays.

The Charlotte-Alplands is home to mountain goats, black bears, wolves, grizzly bears, caribou, mule deer and other mammal species. The lakes and streams sustain native rainbow trout stocks and includes the headwaters of the Atnarko River system, one of British Columbia's most important salmon fishery river systems.

At 222,387 acres, more than 75 lakes over 20 acres in size and 137,140 acres of alpine environments, the Charlotte-Alplands meets the criteria for a true wilderness experience.

Horseback and boat travel and touring, stillwater and stream rainbow trout fishing, hiking, photography and hunting.

Easy access from Vancouver International Airport via Pacific Coastal Airlines (one hour flight) to Anahim Lake, or by Highway 20 from Williams Lake to Nimpo Lake.

Exclusive trips for families, friends, business groups or anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all.

Our Mission: To conserve, protect, and share the natural beauty of the wilderness, in a spirit of stewardship.
